The autonomous grapevine pruner spur prunes bilateral cordon grapevines with the quality of hand labor.   The pruner models the full vine before making the first cut.  This holistic approach enables the system to apply whatever pruning rules the operator desires.  It also ensures efficient operation and quality work.  The prototype pruner is in development and could be completed within 18 months depending on financing.
